Ok, I have seen many of the white boxers with some color, patch here, some there however I have seen some puppies could be from BYB that are marked like a cow - pattern - to me, I am thinking there is no way its 100% boxer and maybe some American Bulldog in it because of the pattern marking.
Is it at all possible, for that to happen with a 100% boxer? To have patterns like a cow?

I've seen it too. I always thought it was just part of the "checked" marking?? But good question, I'll be interested in the answer as it's always something I wondered too. The pups I've seen 1 claims to be from a rep breeder, the other is from a pet store.

I've seen these too... those known as "checked" Boxers, correct? I think it's possible that they're 100% Boxer - just the "flash" gene going crazy. But I'm certainly no expert....
The one I recently saw was really adorable & came from Nico's breeder, actually.

I got checked but can it be physically possible for the pup to be "overly" checked?

I always consider anything posible .
I have never seen a checked boxer with lots of cow markings . I have seen some with a large spot or two on the flanks but that is all .
An example is here , scroll down to the bottom .

OMG! Breeding her?! Let's not even go there. LOL
She does look part bulldog to me tho. But the overly-checked ones that I've seen definitely have that boxer look. Still a good question tho, as you never know what could be popping out those lines later on.
Come on breeders. Where are ya?

From that pic Heather posted I would think that dog is not 100% boxer , it does look more Am bulldog , from the shape of the body .

Yeah from worldwide site Missi I have seen some that look like they were going to have the correct markings to be flashy, but the flash just over dominated. With the above pic, it too reminds me more amer. bull dogs with the random markings aside from a spot here and there.

The first dog I thought of when you were talking about crazy markings was one from a BYB.....supposedly it is 100% boxer, but you never know.

Well...I'm sure a sneaky BYB could fudge AKC papers....like saying their female registered boxer had puppies that were out of their male boxer, when they were really out of their friends AB, or something like that.

Sadly I see this way too often. Just goes to show you what AKC registered could mean. Suddenly that $400.00 puppy with AKC papers isn't as attractive....
I guess it is always possible to lie when you register a dog.
Don't ask me how but I have seen so far two pedigrees, that actually showed the coloring on a boxer as white on the AKC registration!!
You could probably register a dog as purple with the AKC since I am guessing it is a computer spitting these things out.
This is where someone seeking a puppy needs to be smart and know the bloodlines. Even that isn't fool proof.
