is what the babies are saying....I ground 3 lbs of large sardines yesterday
The entire time the babies sat there starring at the grinder in awe
Storm was actually drooling by the time I finished she had a puddle that I slipped in
They love their new food, I didn't even cut off the tails, I ground everything...its nice bc now I can afford to put fish in their everyday diet if I want, Hulk can really use it for his heart...
I think I may go back to being a vegetarian though, this grinding stuff is really grossing me out....How do you guys stomach it that make your own?

Hmmm, I think I just grew into it. At one point I was unable to touch raw meat...imagine that! But after having kids and having to touch some of the things that came up or out of them made that easier.
Now my life revolves around my pups so I do what I can to make their lives better. Grinding does not bother me at all...and neither does touching raw meat

Eww.....I am a vegetarian and this is why I could never feed raw. LOL I had a hard enough time when I had to do homecooking for Ariel.

Claire I keep telling myself to suck it up and just don't think about it....Can you come to my house and grind my fish for me?
Kristin, I know that is why I love the pre-made bc I don't actually see all the parts going in it so I don't think about it, I was fine feeding it....hubby told me he is taking my grinder privs. away
I think he is gonna do the actual grinding part, I don't trust him to get the recipe right that is why I do it

This is the reason I know that I could never feed raw. And whole fish...seems to me that you would see things like their insides & head getting ground and I could not stomach that at all!

Luckly you don't actually see it bc it spits it out all ground, but I imagine it then on top of the smell....Fish are smelly to begin with and grinding them really brings it out...
