I scoop out the marrow, and then freeze them in individual ziploc bags. I give them to Molly frozen. Just bought 3 for her yesterday  Grin  I don't refreeze them since I scoop the marrow out anyway. When they are empty she gets peanut butter in them or I will melt cheese in one and let it cool. She usually chews on an empty bone when she is tired, so I keep some in her toy basket for her. I throw them away if I see a crack in it.

Dawn, Like Julia said the concern with mixing raw and kibble is when eating bone is inloved. I really don't think your making the bone any harder when frozen, the marrow and left over meat etc, yes. Only thing it does with my guys it make it last a bit longer. Most times Shelly won't even bother till it warms up or her bro gets it nice a warm and slobery for her.

I gave them to them a lil while ago and noticed that it looked like Rubi was eating the bone. Kept hearing a crunch and when I looked closer, it looked like part of the bone was gone. She got one of the flatter ones whereas Grady had the more thicker rounded one. He couldn't quite get his mouth around it to gnaw on it, so he just pulled most of the meat off the sides. Rubi got a buncha marrow since her's was flat. They are both looking for more. LOL
