Where do you guys buy your fish oil?

We were getting the Norwegian Salmon fish oil bottles from our pet store, but they stopped carrying the larger bottles and now sell puppies, so I refuse to purchase from them anymore. I was going to look online, cuz I'm sure I can get the same stuff on line - probably a lil more than what we paid - but wondered what you guys buy and where you get it?

I know some probably do human grade fish oil from the drug stores/ grocery stores, etc., so just interested in some other options too.

I just bought some of these, cause I am going to start taking them as well. Was buying the cheap stuff at walmart for him, but I wont take vitamins from the store.

Claire- what brand do you buy? where do you get it? how many do you give the pups a day?

I admit, I hate puncturing those suckers too, which is why those pumps were so nice and convenient. I wonder if the dogs would swallow them whole? doubt it...lol

I use human grade too but I just put the whole capsule in with her food and she scarfs it up with the food.  I use Natures Valley that I get at Walgreens.  They are always on sale buy one get one free.

I use the salmon oil made by The Wholistic Pet, it is a pump and is a great price for how long it lasts.

Dawn, I bet if you just wrapped the capsule in cheese or PB, the pups would probably eat it.

My guys eat them out of my hand or in Corky's case right through her kibble... the water in the kibble kinda evaporates the covering....  I just bought the pump for the first time, Petco just started carrying it, so I bought it cause I was using hubby's fish oil blush  when I ran out of Boxer fish oil.......

I buy the Walgreen's brand too.  Buy one get one free!  I used to puncture the capsules for Abe, but with the last two boxers, I just toss them in with their kibble or raw meal.

OK, so I bought the Walgreens Fish Oil (Finest Natural). I looked and looked and that's all they had. $17 for 350 capsules. But I didn't see any that had Vitamin E in it. It doesn't mention it has any, so was curious....does anyone know if it does and it just doesn't label it?

I figure I'll give em each 2/day (they are 1000mg per capsule) and see how it goes. Will probably order the wholistic pet stuff if this new stuff doesn't have fish oil, or they seem to go thru it quicker than our normal fish oil.
