Apparently there is something to that stuff. I had bought a bunch of it at Costco for Scott because of his IBS and I ran out of the dogs plain yogurt a week ago and haven't had a chance to buy more so I have been giving them the Activia- well Viktor has always had issues with constipation no matter what I feed him. I have used powdered probiotics and yogurt and nothing ever changed. Well after a week of getting one container of Activia each day- for two days now he has had regular and normal bowel movements!

That's funny, I never would have thought of trying that stuff for the dogs! Glad it's working for him, that must be a relief!

I never thought of it either until that was all I had in the fridge! I think I'm going to stick with it though since it works. It's not real cheap, but I can buy it by the case at Costco for a lot less than at Walmart or Albertsons!

Poor Viktor has always strained to have bowel movements, sometimes he would even scoot his but on the ground then try to go again. I had the vet check his anal glands a couple of times and they were fine.

I tried it for myself, but you're supposed to eat it everyday for it to work.  I just couldn't eat yogurt everyday, so it didn't really do anything for me.  But glad it's working for Viktor!

That yogurt made my stomach hurt.  I prefer the Chobani...since it's less sweet
