Go to Big Lots first
«
on:

I was at Target today doing some Christmas shopping. I almost bought a box of Hershey's caramel chocolates (like a reg. candy box except they all have caramel instead of a mixture of fillings) for $6.99. I put it back at the last minute because I'm cheap and 6 bucks is a lot for me right now.
Then Ty and I left for Big Lots to visit Tory while he was working... I was browsing their Christmas candy, and they had the same exact box for $3.50!! Needless to say I bought it. (My 20% employee discount helps too
)
So go to Big Lots with your list first, then hit the other stores.

That is exactly what I do, Launi! As I have said previously, I LOVE Big Lots!
BTW, if anybody needs/wants a laptop fan, they have one for $13!

Oh yeah, and they're open on T-giving Day, for those of who are restless and don't want to watch football!

I really don't like going there...I've been a couple of times & everytime the store is so messy. There is stuff all over the floor, everything just seems so unorganized. Oh boy I can imagine how it will look during these next couple of months!

DITTO! I can't stand stores like that, usually the discount stores, which include Wal-Mart, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, etc. Too unorganized for me. I actually don't think there are too many Big Lots around my area anyway. Target may be more expensive, but I love it!!

It for me is prob like going to walmart on a rainy day (going to an unorganized store - we have no big lots). NIGHTMARE!!! I tend to choose Target over Walmart for one its easier to find things, and less of a chaos in the store.

I really think it depends on which store you go to. The one by my house is nice and clean, plenty of room in the aisles, etc. Some of the others I've been to make me cringe. They have so much crap everywhere you can hardly walk. I just have to leave.

Definitely! I won't go in the one by my mom's house. It's nasty! But the one here (that my husband is the store manager of
) is similar to a Target in how organized it is.
