Beef kidney
« on: September 26, 2007, 06:29:10 PM »
I found some on sale today so I bought 3 big packages.
I sliced it all up and froze it, but first gave some to the kids. Daisy looked at me like are you sure I want this, but she did end up eating it. Archie didn't eat his. It still turns my stomach just thinking about it. Should I have ground it up with meat instead of giving it as is?

Bumpy is right on.  Some dogs don't seem to mind the textures and others do.  And some just have to learn how to chew up raw foods.  Slick stuff like liver and kidneys and such give Romy a bit of pause.  She just doesn't go for the texture or something.  My boys have no problem at all!  Go figure!
