Chicken Fillet?
« on: June 08, 2007, 06:56:53 AM »
Can dogs/puppies eat chicken fillets? How much a day can they have & can you just cook it normally as if it where for a person or does it have to be cooked a specific way?  ???

If you are feeding Chix fillets I would boil them and add to kibble since I saw you are feeding Royal Canin.

Boil because any of the fats will be retained by the water.  If you fry or bake, then you are cooking the chicken in their fat or grease and there is really no need for the dog to consume the fat.

So I suggest boiling it, and adding it to the kibble.  I have done in the past before feeding raw, one breast of chix added with one cup of kibble.
