How do you keep your boxers from eating chicken poo?
Are they very attracted to it ?
Seriously wanting chickens this year and I am just trying to prepare .

When we had chickens they were more interested in herding the chickens than eating the poop...though they did eat the poop...wasn't much we could do to stop it...

We have had boxers and chickens for quite a few years and my best advice is.... teach your dogs the 'leave it' command and keep your chickens healthy
Laila occasionally eats chicken poo, but she prefers frozen horse droppings.

There's one chicken that lives on my street, Star prefers to chase it and leaves the poo alone.

Thanks.
They both know the leave it command ( though Edy has become selective in what she listens to anymore
) .
They love deer and rabbit poop so I figured they would also be attracted to the chicken poop , hopefully not .

To be honest chicken poo has never been a big issue with any of my dogs, I think it's because chicken droppings are so acidic.
