What Grain free Kibbles are you all having good luck with?
« on: July 08, 2014, 08:55:57 PM »
I still feed my guys TOTW. I know....... but they do great on it and the new pup was on it too so it's a no brainer. Wonder If we are tempting fate or not. Have had great luck with Precise but it's a higher price point.

My two are doing wonderfully on the 4-Health grain free foods, it's sold at Tractor Supply stores around here. The price isn't too bad and they love it. I still feed homemade/raw once in a while but we have been feeding mostly kibble lately.

I'm using Zignature right now and liking it so far.  Also used Grandma Mae's Country Naturals for a while - that food is a zero-recall food, but only sold at independent pet stores so you may not have it in your area.

I feed Earthborn Holistic, Primitive Natural. It's reasonably priced, just a few dollars more than Taste of the Wild.

I switched from TOTW when they had all the recalls. I went with the cost co brand made by the same company as TOTW ( can't remember the name ) , they both did horrible with it .

I also tried the 4 health grain free and they have both done good on it .

They do great on TOTW so switching is tough. Every good food out there is crazy money now. Anyone use Fromm's?

Pippen eats Canidae Pure Sea with Fresh Salmon. They also have other grain free products with other meat sources. The rest of the crew is on Canidae All Life Stages Formula, not grain free but it doesn't contain wheat, corn, soy, fillers, antibiotics, hormones, artificial flavors, colors or preservatives

There are so many grain free kibbles now. Most so expensive. Since my original post I think we are on bag 2. Still have not switched. Just can't bring my self to upset the apple cart. Wish I could just get back to raw. To much $$$$$!

Molly eats Wellness Core and has done well with it. We switched after the whole Evo recall. I think she eats better now actually
