Boxer Rescue day
« on: July 02, 2013, 05:22:13 PM »
Last Sunday was our clubs Boxer rescue day. The club tries to do one or two days a year where we go and spend the day at Boxer Rescue LA. Normaly we do a lot of dog walking, but it was way to hot for that. We did more of a bath and grooming day for the dogs in the kennel. It is so sad to go down there and see so many boxers that need homes, but it does feel good to give all the babies there some love.

I think it's wonderful that your club does this. Not all clubs appreciate the side of rescue as yours does. Well, I should say that not all clubs actually DO something about it. I'm sure it was sad to see, but I bet those boxers enjoyed the extra company and attention they received that day.
