Supplements with Health Testing?
« on: October 12, 2012, 07:53:50 PM »
I didn't completely know where to put this so I thought if may fit better in here.

I was just wondering what you do with health testing and feeding supplements. Do you stop for a month or so before the testing? For example, kelp helps keep the thyroid regular. If you supplement with kelp do you just stop feeding it for a month or so? Or test the thyroid while feeding kelp also? I was thinking about this mainly with kelp and COQ10. Salmon oil probably doesn't make that big of a difference. Just wondering what you guys do.

Thanks!

I have not thought about stopping any supplements while testing. Going to have to think about that one.

I have read ( do not remember where ) that you should stop all suppliments before thyroid testing .

Things like kelp could change the results .
