Skateboarding Puppy
« on: September 10, 2012, 10:05:38 PM »
Bauer's been taking another class where he's working on foundational skills for obedience and agility. Once that class was over, the instructor offered a few "drop-in" classes to work on a few other things, as well as some fun things.

In the past 2 weeks, Bauer's learned "go outs" to the gate and how to run and tap the "That was easy" button. Today, we did some wobbleboard work again and added a new fun lil trick to our bag....skateboarding!!

At first, he was so excited that he tried to eat the rubber wheels. Once he figured it out, he was all about riding that thing and would have gone across the room if I had let him. It was so funny.

Gawd, he's so much fun! lol Not afraid of a darn thing and sharp as a tack!

LOL Come on down! That's actually a rented facility that one of our club members built with inheritance money when her father died years ago. It was her dream to build it, and so she did, and rents out the space for private lessons from many of our club trainers (allowing some of us to work thru the summer when the club is closed). She also holds "show n gos" there on the weekends. It's a really nice place.

I need to find a "That was Easy" button. Last week, he ran out to touch the button and run back for the treat. It was so funny when you'd tell him to "go touch" and he ran out and it went "That was Easy." Had us all laughing. Matter of fact, my co-worker has a similar button, but it's the "bullsh!t" button. Maybe I can borrow that til I get the easy button, so I can video that one too. Would probably be much more funny anyway. lol
