So happy with my lil Bauer!

He's so smart and working with him is just so much fun. He knew sit before I brought him home, and he now knows "down," "touch," "come," and we're also working on "spins" and "place." He runs thru the tunnel like it's a breeze, and loves it so much he'll sometimes lay in it and take a nap - lol, hope that habit doesn't stick someday in a trial

.
The hardest part is always housetraining, but he's done very well with only a few accidents - which usually happened because we didn't react quick enough. For the most part, he lets us know if he's gotta potty by either running around frantically, or screaming his head off in the crate. We've been working with bell training and he goes ape over the bell. If there is any toy with a bell, he gets all demonic on it, so funny. So, naturally, when I ring the bell, he tries to attack it!

Silly boy.
But yesterday we hit a milestone! He tried this once before and we didn't catch his message, thought he just ran into the door cuz he was playing. But, yesterday, he ran to the door and sat and stared at it. As soon as I said, "oh boy! you wanna go outside?" he jumped up, did a lil dance, let me ring the bell, and open the door. Out he went, (running) and peed and came running back in!
So proud of my lil monster! Shawn and I were so shocked and excited that we both congratulated him. LOL He did it again today at lunch, so I know he's catching on. Maybe we'll have him trained before Rubi was (6 months!). Gawd, I hope so! lol
