b-naturals yeast treatment
« on: July 06, 2012, 09:16:12 AM »
Remy is having issues with red yeast on his face - really the folds under his eyes.

His muzzle is really short and the tearing from his eyes keeps the folds in his face damp .
So I wipe them , I have used vinegar in the water for as long as I can remember & gold bond powder to help .
He was doing o.k with that , some times it would almost go away but never completely .
It never seemed to bother him , once in a while he would rub his chin on the rug but
other than that no issues .

But this last week with the high humidity it has really started to bother him . He would rub his face all the time . try to scratch his face / eye area . And no matter how many times I wipe his eyes they are always
damp . Woke up on Wed morning and he had scratched under his eye over night and it was bleeding .

So I ordered some products from B-Naturals that is supposed to get rid of red yeast . I will let you know if they work or not in case anyone else has a need for the products .

 :fingerscrossed: that they work .

Oh the poor guy! Grady would get some yeast on his face every now and then, but after a few wipes, it went away. I think his was mostly due to allergies (watery eyes) during the seasonal changes. He had issues for a long time with his paws, but changing his food, adding probiotics and using gold bond really seemed to work.

What product did you get from them? Definitely keep us posted on how it goes. Hopefully it clears poor Remy's issues right up.

I'd be interested to hear if that works.  Dash has red yeast on his toes - it gets pretty light when the weather is good, but I never get rid of it and when the weather gets damp, YUCK. I can only imagine having it on your face, icky!

I can't wait to hear how it works. I've been battling yeast with Lucky for years. This year is exceptionally bad. He's got it in his nail beds, feet, and chin. It's itching him so badly that he's caused secondary infections

I get a product from Natures Farmacy called Clora Care. It is a good anti-fungle and anti-bactirea. It only need to be on for a minute or two to work and is ok for them to lick it off. It works pretty good.

I hope / think the suppliments are helping Remy .
He is no longer trying to scratch his face or constantly rubbing it .

The downside is that he does not want to take the  HAC Yeast & Fungal D-Tox , so I have to mix it and squirt it in his mouth .
