Interesting - Vitamin C
« on: February 10, 2012, 09:37:43 AM »
I did not realise that Vitamin C was also an antihistamine, and the subject cropped up in one of my animal nutrition groups. I thought it was worthwhile sharing - especially for those people who regularily use benadryl/tagamet. Have you considered vit C?

This link has some more information, and also other products - like honey - that are also natural antihistamines -

Thaks for the link, Kerry!  I've read alot about vitamin c on the cancer groups. Mostly that people are giving it as part of their supplements.

Thanks for sharing Kerry.  I would much rather give Precious Vitamin C than the Benadryl when her allergies flair up.  I always carry Benadryl in my purse.
