Dixie is a rescue so I dont expect her to be perfect. When I met her I didnt even think twice about it. seeing other boxers though, its pretty clear to me that her muzzle is longer than others. Do you think she could be mixed? Maybe a boxer/pit mix? I think shes beautiful, just curious. :)

It is impossible to know for sure - but my guess is that she is not a mix - probably just out of some dogs that don't have very good heads.

She has a lovely sweet face though  :smitten:

She doesn't look mixed to me. Probably just like Kerry said...out of boxers with poor head structure. You will find varying lengths to the boxer muzzle. The 'correct' should be more square and short. But with all the BYB's and poorly bred boxers out there, there are many variances. She is awfully cute though. :)

When we got Chloe (fawn in sig) my son thought she might be a mix. We have since determined that it is just because she keeps her ears tucked back almost all the time. She was in trouble a lot at her former home so she rarely relaxes her ears still. :(

Her face reminds me a bit of my Rubi, who's muzzle is longer than your Dixie. At Dixie's age though, Rubi's was probably much longer than Dixie's is now. I agree with Kerry....all boxer, just not very strong heads in her genes. And I'd bet as she gets older, she'll probably grow into her muzzle a bit more and you'll hardle notice it. ;) Rubi's grown into her's some, but still longer than the standard.

Her face is my Phoebe's face...boxer, yes...but just poorly bred. I think she is very sweet looking, but then I may be a bit bias too ;)

I think white on the nose tends to exaggerate the look of a long snout too.  And while they are still growing (and she definitely is) the length can go back and forth a bit as different part grow at uneven rates.  You'll see even well-bred dogs' head's "fall apart" during adolescence, then come together when they mature.
