Question....will they dock the puppies tails and do the dew claws? I know it is more important for them to get healthy but just wondered before they are too old.

Thank you so much Lori!! I'm the same way if I were rich, I would still be broke cause I'd give it all tp them...but I do know that every single donation counts and helps us keep doing what we do and we also know that they come straight from the heart and that keeps us going not only financially but spiritually and emotionally as well!!

April...I am not sure at this point what they will do about the tails and claws and I haven't gotten a progress report yet this morning but am expecting one right away.  I know yesterday was touch amd go but after getting some nourishment they were getting wiggly last night!!  :fingerscrossed:

I wish I could help financially, I know how fast those vet bills mount. I will pray for Bentley and the little puppies. If I were closer and I would love to help with fostering the little ones. :fingerscrossed: they are all doing well

OK...here is this mornings update!!

The babies ALL made it thru the night and are acting like the little wiggle butts they should be...Isn't it just amazing what a little food and love will do??    ;) They are going back to the vet this morning for evaluation and if they pass they will go ahead and dock their tails and remove the dew claws.

Bentley is having a rough time... :bigcry: He was full of worms and after yesterdays treatment for the mange...the open sores are "enraged" as they described it and he is in a lot of pain.  I know the woman who has him personally and she is just awesome...her entire life will revolve around Bentley and her quest to comfort and heal him...he could not be in a better home.  He now has two foster sisters that are normally hell on wheels and they tell me that it is truly amazing how gentle and tender these two wild ninja girls are being with little Mr. B   They lay quietly beside him as he rests in his crate as if they are giving moral support...they know he is sick and are doing all they can to comfort him.

Whew...no one expected all of this on Easter weekend but as usual Four Season's has been once again surrounded by the love and support of Boxer lovers and I thank everyone for all the donations, love and prayers you are sending.

My heart goes out to Bentley and the little puppies. He has to be in such pain, but I bet he is enduring it without complaint true to boxer fashion. I didn't think that they did those treatments for mange anymore because they do 'enrage' the sores.
