There are a number of good breeders in Massachusetts and across New England. I believe Lemko Boxers (Jess Kozel) is the only Massachusetts breeder who posts on our forum, she'd be a great starting point to talk to and get names of other breeders.  She's not too far from Boston either.

Ditto on the Jess recommendation. If she doesn't have puppies, she'll know someone who might.  Jess owns my Peanut's dad.

Peanut (classic brindle female) born 2/15/2009

If you are not opposed to rescuing, why not try your local Boxer rescue? Rescuing a pup is so rewarding...I have 4, have had many and still am waiting for the day I get one from a breeder, but taking others cast offs and giving those special pups a loving home is so rewarding.

Hi all!  I haven't posted for a while...have been very busy at work  :wall:  But I have to say that I totally recommend Boxer Rescue as well.  Both of my babies were rescues and it's the best thing I've ever done.  One day I'll probably go through a breeder, but there's something so special about rescues...they seem to just "know" what you've done for them.

Molly - flashy fawn rescue girl 6/9/06

Here is the list of breeders registered with the American Boxer Club - http://www.americanboxerclub.org/usboxersites.html.  I would recommend going with one of them or with a breeder who follows ABC guidelines.  I live in PA but drove to Ohio for both of my dogs (one five hours away, one three hours away) because I liked those breeders the best and they did the health testing that I wanted.  They also showed their dogs, which I like.

Just do your research and make sure you find a good breeder, no matter how long it takes.
