1st Novice B leg for Trigger
« on: April 04, 2011, 02:25:33 PM »
On Sunday Trigger did me proud and earned his first qualifying score in the Novice Obedience ring.

On Saturday we didn't have such a good day and busted on his recall - which was probably just as well since it wasn't going very well, and we didn't deserve to qualify.

It was a super challenging show environment - outside (under cover) on packed dirt. Yesterday I was really proud of Trigger - and all the other dogs (5 Novice B dogs and 5 Novice A dogs) who had to do sit-stays together - whilst all around them people were packing up show equipment, driving vehicles in and out next to the rings and such, dogs were barking and carrying on - and all 10 dogs had just beautiful stays and no-one broke.

WTG to both of ya!! The down/sit stays always impress me. I am concerned about those outta sight stays when we get to that point! Grady will come lookin for me. Very impressive that the entire class made it thru with all those distractions!! Congrats!!
