New behavior
« on: March 19, 2011, 09:26:44 PM »
Keanu has figured out if he gives a fake out alert bark that Shelly will jump up, off of the nice warm spot that he would like. As soon as she's down to join in the alert he jumps into her spot, quite full of himself to boot. :laugh4:

Well, it's a kinder approach than crushing her until she gives up, lol.

A technique used by many a boxer LOL...Phoebe does this to Willie and Willie does this to Ollie! It is a "you got out and I got in" mentality LOL

Peanuts technique involves squishing Beas until he gets up. But lately he's been stubborn and just laid there while she squishes him

Lol Dawn, maybe Grady and Keanu are in cahoots . He also practices the lay on top of squish technique, all though Shellster does not give up easily. She can take a good long squishing.

I have only one boxer, Dakota, and it amazes me how much effort she will sometimes go through to get fear favorite chair. I am usually the one sitting in it and when I am, she will wait until I get up and the snag it right away. And I mean right away! But when either of my daughters are sitting there she will paw at them, ask them to play with her ball (this is funny in its own right), or try to squeeze behind them and then snuggle them off of it.

I am astonished almost daily at the things this dog will do.
