Your Favorite Show Site
« on: May 05, 2010, 06:17:22 PM »
What is your favorite show site? Inside, ooutdoors what do you guys prefer?

I just started thinking about this last weekend in Bear, DE. I love that out door show, I'm was hot and I got a tick or two but other than that it was great.

I know it sounds really stupid, but I'm curious.

So the question still remains, Where is your favorite dog show and why.

I like outdoor shows because of the noise levels. Some indoor shows I've gone to are just hard on the ears.

That is a hard one. There are a couple of show I really love.  I really like them outdoor, then again most of our show are outdoor shows in Cali.

Palm Springs in January is a great show. It is on the polo fields so the grass is short and not alot of holes in the ground. It also is a huge show some where between 3000-4000 dogs!

My home show in Ventura in July. It is has a great show site right across from the beach. Wonderful weather and another really large entry!

Paso Robles. It is a small show but we get to go wine tasting after the show. It is just beautiful there.

East Bay. Nor Cal in the fall is really nice. They have a very nice fair grounds with lots of shade! Also I get to see all my friends from up north.

Outdoor shows are nice. Ive only been to one indoor show, it was nice, but now a lot of room to walk without bumping into people.

Best show! :bunnydance: can't wait till next year. Lake Mathews was really nice too, minus all the bugs :barf:

Here in WI I like the indoor shows, but come summer I will enjoy the outdoor gatherings.

It depends on the actual show. Most of my favorites are indoors. The outdoor shows around here are normally in horse/cow barns.
