YAY!  I think I've found a good home for Fancy!  I was speaking with a good friend of mine about 2 and a half hours away and she put me in touch with a family that has been looking for a nice female boxer, past the worst of the puppy stage, already spayed, etc.  They are near our age with older kids and grandkids who visit a lot.  They live on an acreage outside a small town near my friends!  I can do a home visit and visit my friend and see if it works out for Fancy!  She is sending me references now so I can check them out.
I'm going to pick Fancy up later today.  Maybe she'll get a really GREAT forever home and I'll stay in good graces with Dave after all!

I just got her home a little while ago.  She's doing very well and both my dogs are great with her.  I've got an appointment to visit her potential home tomorrow to see if she will be a good fit for the Jones family.  After speaking with Lesta at length, it sounds promising!
She's a pretty little brindle girl and as soon as DAve gets home, I'll try to get a picture of her to share.

Here's a couple of pics I got.  She's an adorable little gal.  Very sweet and mild mannered but not fearful at all!  Rudy REALLY wants to play with her but I don't dare let her off leash.  She has no re-call at all but I'm told her name is Fancy.  I think that's a cute name!

In this one, you can see her poor hoo-hoo.

She is a beauty, she has such a sweet face.  :smitten: My fingers are crossed that her prolapse issue resolves sooner rather than later and she gets a wonderful forever home.

Dave thinks she's a very cute little boxer girl.  He actually said, maybe you should give them Onyx and we'll keep Fancy!   ::) :laugh4:  I just got home from delivering Fancy to her new home!  Lesta and her mom Paula were ecstatic about Fancy and had already done a lot of reading and research about her prolapse issue and had spoken to their vet about it.  They have a nice acreage at the edge of a small town with plenty of room for Fancy and a bunch of kids coming and going to keep her occupied!  I have high hopes this is the perfect solution for Fancy!  I really liked Lesta and her mom!  GREAT people!  I'm so glad we connected!

She already did join, right after we first talked!     I told her this was one of the best resources she could have for a first time boxer owner.  I'm sure we'll be seeing more of lil' Miss Fancy!
