Bless you for having the courage to stop and do something about what you saw, instead of just driving on by!  Good luck with you new sweetie and I'll keep a positive thought (and send lots of cyber hugs) that she regains her health in short order with you!  YOU are the BEST! :2thumbsup:

Thanks everyone for the well wishes!
Bella goes to the Vet this morning at 11:30.
We are hoping for the best.....
I am encouraged by her progress in just the past 2 days.
Her sores are healing nicely and her gums are beginning to pink back up,
the best part is she has that twinkle in her eyes...
She also has gained a bounce in her step and that wonderful Boxer wiggle :)
We immediately started her on some immune therapy supplements.
We are feeding her 4 times a day a combination of cooked chicken and rice.
I spent the afternoon yesterday boiling and deboning chicken.
My other half has been such a trooper, he gives her the last feeding around
11:00pm and then takes her outside.
He also spends a lot of time talking to her and comforting her  :smitten:
She is not house broken by any means....but with diligence we are keeping
her clean and dry.
We fixed an ex-pen in my den with some rubber roofing under it to protect the carpet.
All in all she has settled into her new life very well and we are proud to call Bella
part of the family!
I will update again after the Vet visit.

Wow...what a wonderful thing you did for her! I wish more people would have the courage to stop when they see a dog in need.  I will send her all the healing vibes I can...good luck at the vet!  :smitten:
