strange that his name is Bruiser and so is this one that I found on Craigslist last week named Brewser. Even their markings are so similar that I had to look & look at the pictures.

Wow, they could be twins.  So sad :bigcry:, two different cities, same sad story.  I hope they both find good forever, loving homes.

I contacted the owner that is near me. He said no fee just that he wants him to get a good home. He can't take care of him any more with life changes. I almost got Don convinced but couldn't get him to get past the cost of feeding three boxers.

I sure hope he finds a good home soon.  Poor baby.

You might mention "Boxer Rebound" to the owner.  They are the shelter in Illinois, and really seem to fight the good fight for these dogs.  One with no abuse issues might be an easy fit somewhere.  They are really fussy about rehoming, including a fenced in yard or Invisible Fence.

I've applied for a couple a year or so ago.  Problem was I live in Wisconsin even though they said I'd be approved.  They stay in Illinois.
