Ouch! Sounds like the girls definitely came through! I'd love to see how Anja showed you she was amused though, trying to picture it!

Patti - UD is Utility Dog, it's the second highest obedience title (UDX - Utility Dog Excellent is the top). TDX would probably be Tracking Dog Excellent. SFE is Stand For Exam, I'm almost certain.

Actually OTCH is the top Obedience Title. Obedience Titling goes:
Novice - CD
Open - CDX
Utility - UD
Utility Dog Excellent - UDX ( Must qualify in Open and Utility on same day 10 times)
Obedience Trail Champion - OTCH

Also, just this year the AKC added two more Obedience Titles an Obedience Master and an Obedience Grand Master. (See Master Program at the bottom of page: http://www.akc.org/news/index.cfm?article_id=3633) These are points based kind of like a MACH but for obedience and you earn points based off your score rather than placement in the class like the OTCH. Points can be earned in Open and Utility.

Taken from AKC Obedience Regulations: http://www.akc.org/pdfs/rulebooks/RO2999.pdf
Requirements for OTCH
1. 100 points OTCH points
2. A first place in Utility B with at least three dogs in competition
3. A first place in Open B with at least six dogs in competition
4. An additional first place under the conditions of 2 or 3 above
5. All three first places under three different judges
Only one of the required first places may have been won at a specialty
show.

Number of OTCH points depends on the number of dogs entered just as an example:
With 6-10 dogs competing 1st place in Open B would get you 2 OTCH points, in utility with 5-7 dogs 1st would get you 4 and second place 1.

In order to get an OTCH you and your dog need to be as close to perfect as possible. When you are competing at the OTCH level placement for OTCH points is generally determined by who hits the most fronts and finishes that day. I have seen a Utility class with several OTCH dogs and the placement was as follows:
1st 199
2nd 198.5(had run off)
3rd 198.5(had run off)
4th 198

It is incredible to watch these dogs, but requires ALOT of work on part of the handler and dog.
