What is "off" with Bo?
« on: January 04, 2009, 10:35:33 PM »
Here are some pics of Bo's head from front and side as well as his body...for educational purposes what should be different on Bo to make him more breed standard?

He has some of the same issues that Felix has that we mentioned in Lisa's thread....lack of upturn in the nose (actually, Felix has a little, Bo doesn't appear to have any) and a roach back with low tailset.  Maybe the muzzle is too long?  I am never sure on that one.

Also....his muzzle is too narrow when viewed from the front, but I don't know the proper terms to describe that (width of muzzle?).  And it's too short (top to bottom) when viewed from the side...I think that is called "lacking depth of muzzle" but I am not certain.

And his mask is not well pigmented.

I think we'd need a full body shot (including all of the legs and head) to be able to judge his body better.

Ditto on the full body shot - it's hard to say much when the pic is just pieces of the dog. Looks like he's not standing straight in the pic, and there is info in the standard for feet and legs too, so cutting them off means incomplete eval.
