H$U$ "Humane Lobby Day"
« on: January 21, 2008, 12:44:19 PM »
Groups interested in preventing H$U$ from passing laws in Indiana [and across the country] making animal ownership, hunting and animal husbandry more expensive need to encourage their members to attend this event. Please forward and crosspost. If you can't attend please write your legislators-politely-and tell them what animal rights extremists are really about. AND that candidates voting for their initiatives are being soundly defeated all over the nation!

Please Join Us for Humane Lobby Day

Dear Friend,

The Humane Society of the United States invites you to make a tremendous difference for animals!

On February 13, 2008, animal advocates will gather in 23 state capitals across the country for Humane Lobby Day. Please join us for this exciting opportunity to meet directly with your elected official or their staff about legislation that will significantly impact animals.

Click here for details and to R.S.V.P.

In order to prepare you for your meetings, we will give you tips for lobbying and an overview of pending animal legislation. Then, along with other animal advocates, you will be able to meet with your legislator and let them know about your support of humane legislation. This event is free of charge, but an R.S.V.P. is requested to attend. Click here to learn more and R.S.V.P.

Face to face meetings are one of the most effective ways to get involved and make a concrete difference in the lives of animals. We hope you can join us on Wednesday, February 13 and experience how you can be an effective animal advocate.

Hope to see you there!
