I agree, puppy food is a waste of money. He'll do just fine on the adult food. I would love to see photos of this new puppy!!

Kibble Feeding / "Puppy" Food Necissary?

For those of you that I don't keep in contact with, we have a new family member named Loki. He was being fed Purina Pro Plan Puppy when we got him and I would like to get him switched to TOTW which is what Keira, our Cocker Spaniel, eats. He prefers to eat her food over his anyway. I was wondering if puppy formulas are more of a gimmick than anything with higher quality foods? I currently feed TOTW Pacific Stream which is the salmon based protein. It is I believe 25% protein and the puppy version is 27%. I know you don't want a puppy to have anything over 30% protein in most cases. So is he ok to eat the "adult" food or do I need to give him the "puppy" version?

Star is in his second puppyhood as well, he plays constantly and acts like a fool. Getting Loki has helped a lot and I think made him go back even more.

To be honest chicken poo has never been a big issue with any of my dogs, I think it's because chicken droppings are so acidic.

Thanks.

They both know the leave it command ( though Edy has become selective in what she listens to anymore  ::)) .

They love deer and rabbit poop so I figured they would also be attracted to the chicken poop , hopefully not .
