Title: Will go for her but not him
Post by: Hanna Banana on April 05, 2007, 03:53:59 PM
I can post this here because I think its more behavior than breed.

My mom says she has no issues having the pup go to the bathroom for her, however she she is at work, my dad tried and no go.  He is getting frustrated.

Do you think the dog senses his lack of patients and frustrations hence why she will not go?  They take her to the same spot all the time.

Pugs are very hard to train.  We originally trained cujo inside cause he was so small and refused to go out.  When we started traing outside it was hard.  Everyone with a Pug that I've spoke with says their very stubborn and hard to potty train.  Good Luck

I printed out how to bell train.   She was very interested in that, and is going to get a bell tonight.

Since he is so small, why not litter train?

Yeah but she has a great yard, and does not want to deal with changing a litter box.  Its only been a week, but my dad gets all frustrated.

Hanna would not go for Jared at first.  But after awhile she did. Just takes time I guess.

My MIL's Pug was bell trained.  She said he was easy to train.
