Deleting a topic once you posted

How come we dont have that feature anymore - or maybe I am just missing it.  Like it you post something no one has replied and you want to delete.   I cannot seem to figure out how to do that anymore

Hmmm....I just added a mod that lets you view the topics started by a person, I wonder if it's related to that?  I'll check it out and see what I can find out.

Yeah just wondering, no big deal.   But just saw the feature was gone, and good to have if you post something really dumb and pointless like some of my posts!  LOL!

Did anyone figure out how to remove a topic? If it IS possible, what are the rules about doing so? For example, if people have responded, is it still ok to remove the entire string if you are the original poster? Has this been discussed before? I tried to search for information about it but came up empty.

IDK...maybe you could PM Julia or Jennifer, they could probably delete it for you or lock it.

Sorry, I got sidetracked and forgot about this!  I have re-enabled the 'delete posts' and 'delete topics' capabilities (once I found them.... ).  There are no limits in the software on this functionality, but I think it's reasonable to ask that in general you don't delete posts to which people have replied - it can really make a thread very hard to follow!   These are "soft deletes", so they're moved to a 'trash can' before being purged entirely - handy if you accidentally click the wrong button!
