Corky's holter

Well, we have the monitor on Corky today, FINALLY.. it only took me two months to actually do that darn thing! I am such a procrastinator... This will be her fourth holter, her last one was done at age 5. The first one was a 0, the second a single and her 5 yr one had 3 singles. Her numbers are slow progressors, which I hope stay that way!!!
Right now she is laying down, but a minute ago she was doing the stiff legged walk, LOL...At least she will walk now, her first one... it took me an hour to get her to move, LOL

I feel your pain. Capone wouldn't walk, wouldn't go out, wouldn't eat. He acted like we were torturing him. He constantly climbed on Rachel begging to be picked up. So she carried him around on her hip for most of the 24 hours.

Corky is the one I started holtering, so the first year was the worst. I remember her being totally taped up, because I was so paranoid of it moving, LOL.... It took me like 45 minute to put the damn thing on her, she couldn't hardly walk at all... Now, it takes me more time to rip the tape strips than to put the holter on, LOL

Crossing our fingers for ya!
Yeah my concern with halo was her continually running and wiggling enough to ditch the holter
She only achieved a complete ditch once..the other times she rubbed off electrodes!
She had more tape holding things than your best cross dresser does....Finally got a full 24 hrs after 4 attempts!

I don't know how, but we got like 23 hours 47 minutes on the first try. Maybe Rachel carrying him around helped?

it never happens, but we have always been lucky in that we always get over 20 hours of tape... It is normally a little short or a little long, but almost always really close!
Do you have to pay for it twice if there isn't enough?
