Spondylosis causes diarrhea? I don't know that I've heard that one before. . .
Vet doesn't feel that it could be arthritis in the hips?
A friend of mine had a portie that had a pinched nerve in her shoulders. . . Caused mobility issues. Friend used acupuncture and it completely fixed the problem.
What did your vet do to arrive at this diagnosis? Were xrays taken? If it were Spondy, diagnosis would have been made via xray. Films could also be pulled to diagnose arthritis. Ruling out Spondy and Arthritis suspects DM. Did you do the DM DNA test on him? Was he At Risk?
I'm so sorry you're seeing issues with him. Sending good thoughts your way.

No completely different issue, thus why he is having the blood work done to see if it is pancreatitis.

Goofy has ALWAYS had issues since I adopted him with his hips and knees, I was told when he was 18 months old that he had HD and issues with his knees. I have had him treated back then till I found Adequan with acupuncture...the Adequan helped the acupuncture didn't.

My vet did the typical vet neurological tests on G-man. Goofy uses his rear legs as place holders, he is aware of his feet and placement of them but has little feeling in them. When Hailey
was diagnosed with DM, she was not aware of her feet, placement or feeling.
Xrays will be taken Friday AFTER the diarrhea is fixed up. Goofy needs to be sedated to have this done since he is not the BEST patient for Xrays.

That is why he is having them done Friday

I know this and have taken him for chiropractic treatments, given him adequan and suddenly there are mega changes that are scaring me and him (his eyes say a lot) and no he was not tested for DM since I really thought I would have some time till I could convince myself that I needed to know this. I honestly was hoping that I would NEVER have another dog with it... I did not really want to find out that he may be suspect and I thought I had at least till he was 8...I might have been wrong...
