I got an invitation in my email to join a new club in the area - Carolinas Working Group Dog Club. Not sure how they got my email, name, etc but I'm guessing from my infordog entry? They have a website, but it's still in very early construction phase. So most info is "content here" type of stuff. So it's not really telling me a whole whole lot.

Anyone a member of a Working Group Club? I dont think I'll be joining, but was just curious what they do mostly - conformation, obedience, etc, put on shows, etc?

Well, makes me wonder whether they are working, working - as in performance type stuff - BUT I bet it is just for people who have dogs in the working group and they focus on conformation???

to me, since they specify "working group" it sounds like they do more conformation type events.  But they could want to do it all.  I know there are a few "working group" clubs in CA, one holds an annual conformation show (they make one of the all-breed shows a 3-day), and the first match we brought Trucker to was a working group club's match.  You just gotta ask them  Smiley
