Griff's Beginner's Agility Graduation

Graduation was tonight...I'm pretty happy with how he did. Tonight was his first time running off-leash (it's week 7 of class). He needs to gain some confidence being off-leash, but overall, I'm happy with how he did.
I, on the other hand, need to work on my running for because Julia already pointed out that the way I carry my hands throws him off. Stupid running form.....I always have ran like a girl.
Anyway, here are his runs:

I couldn't get the second video to play, but he/you looked good in the first one. Are there things that could be better, of course, but for first time off leash, and only 6 weeks of classes before, I'm impressed. Keep up the good work!

If you have any specific things that I could/should be doing differently or better...feel free to let me know! I'm totally new to this so I will take any advice or pointers that I can get!

Nicely done! He deff focuses on you! it's great that he "over jumps" all of the lower jump heights. Strummer would get lazy so I had to move his practice jump height to 16" or he would walk over them. You guys are doing well.
My agility instructor always tell me to stand up straight and us deliberate and simple signals.

Thanks Jill. I totally noticed my posture too, which is a big pet peeve with our instructor too. Something I need to work on, in general. Some of the vids, I looked like I was gonna fall over! LOL I also didn't like how I was "coaching" the entire time, so that's something to work on.
His advanced obedience classes start next month. Our agility instructor said he was ready for "real" beginners agility classes, but I told her I wanted to focus on getting him further in obedience for now, and just stick with the fun agility classes during the "off season" for now. He'll have advanced classes in Sept, Novice in January, may do Rally classes in March, more foundation agility with her in the summer, and we may do Performance Classes the following Sept, which includes some flyball, agility, rally and tracking. Then we'll go into full-fledge agility classes and learn the "real" stuff. (He's a busy boy! LOL)
