That is what hubby is.....I want to take Storm to do her CGC test this up-coming weekend and he wants to wait until she finishes her inter-agility class, why??? She barely started the class....He said he wants to wait to concentrate on one thing at a time, what do you guys think....should I wait, I am not sure when the next test time is?

I would take her this weekend like you planned.  What's the difference if she passes now or after her class is done?  inquisitive

It's not like it is a distraction for her to take the CGC while in agility. I say take the CGC test!

It's a test, it's not like it's any additional classes or requires additional "studying" LOL It's a simple test and I'm quite sure Storm knows the requirements to pass with no problem at all. I say take the test, and tell hubby to suck an egg. LOL

Ditto others - I'm sure Storm has her "manners" to pass the test, so I don't see why she should wait.  This isn't something where you'd pull her out of class and spend all your training time on it.  Roll Eyes

Not to mention lots of dogs "multi-task" in their training - how many dogs do we know that compete in agility and obedience? The two yahoo lists I'm on have sooo much overlap because people do both.

Take her now, and get it over with. There is no reason that I can think of why she can't do multiple things at once.
